spread's still not that tight but it's not terrible.
L2 can bounce bombers to some extent, though I suppose so could the SY/44.
AA also requires you to be shooting at the planes.
AA superiority point is moot since you can't snipe scouts anymore. Any competent player can pretty much keep their scout otside your aa range while scouting you for the entire duration.
As for the Amagi. On paper, dreadfully terrible ship. 39 knts base, 35 knts full, not all that much weight to play around, 20.5" duals share the same legacy as the 20.1" duals. only 6 AA per side, though you get roughly 12 in the front and backs. In practice, the damage isn't bad at max range, though once you're in range there are things that you'll bounce off of. The AA angles are great, which somewhat makes up for the loss of 2 turrets. Speed still sucks a bit, but least you're still faster than a few bbs and you'll also do more damage and range against them. 20.5 angles are the same as you're used to.
