i think its all in your style of play. i use the german range advantage in the lower lvls to rain pain down on other players. so i must keep my distance aft mounted guns are an advantage. i have used both but stuck with the 46. or you can just wait and get the sp for range whoreing

It depends on your style of fighting if you wanna charge in go with the 52. If you like to show em your tail an lob shells at em while you sail away and wait for your torps to reload then go for the 46, there both good boats until they get eclipsed by the 99.

Do what I did stick with the Z1 until level 25 then get a z99 its cheaper over all and if you get good with Z1 4.1" dual guns and torpedoes you can still be very effective in battle until you get to the level for a Z99.

Ok, I just remodeled to a Z52 . . . it is awesome! I can now fit my 5" duals on them! YAY!! Thanx for the advice.

i would pick the z52 its just plain better with the forward turrets ever dd is running from you well almost everdd

Z52 is better cuz it lets u have the chance to hit and run more.....

I chose teh Z52 because it's a bit faster and turns a bit better. . .but it's up to you if you want to accept teh disadvantage of only one rear turret.

IMHO the ability to regularly dodge torps thanks to smaller turning radius and higher speed beats the one rear turret. . .especialy because your front guns have have an arc of 310 degrees anyway, so your actual 'blind spot' is very small.

Well this is the same problem i had at your lvl and i found the best solution was to look closely at how i played. weather i was someone who chased and attacked or let the battle come to me and have to run every now and then. and if you find you attack more then i would suggest the Z52 for it's front turrets and ability to fit a bigger engine in there. but if you find you let battles come to you more then i would suggest that you choose the Z46 and its ability to be able to shot from where ever the action comes from.

That's depend if you wanna 2 guns at back choose z46
If 2 guns at front choose z52 (but z52 have a little more displacement).
