Delay classing any non support sailor is feasible and at the least will give you a small
SD/Repair boost. Gunners cap early usually and late classing them will give you a smaller
crew size saving weight. You will miss out on using the AA class guns until you do class
though.

Do whatever you want.
There is a price to pay to delay.

Now I am very much confused. Should I follow D_S or richard? Both seem right. Yet

I think classing on time should be no problem, as ACC ls less important in AA rules. I
used to grind S.Y with late class AA sailor (ACC+10) and the spread is good and
balance.

Rel +11
AC +10

I classed my AA Gunners as soon as it was availeble. At the moment they are Chief
Rapid Fire Gunners lvl 107 and they do the job perfectly fine.

So id recommend you class them as soon as you can. Dont waste them by classing
them too late.
