sure, but its not every time that you are at "max range", so that the torps explode by the
side of the BB. even yet, most are the situations where the battles arent in the max range
of torps. and even fighting like that doesnt make sure the torps hit the BB, since u give
more time reaction for the BB to turn around and go.

All in all, KM are OP

Well I would not factor in the hit rate of torps. But in 1 salvo Uk t2-3 IJN t1-2 will do the most damage. Torp
for torp uk will hit harder then km.
When i play SS i always make sure even if my torps dud they are at max range and will still hit them for alot of
splash damage.

u cant say IJN and UK have the strongest torps, when u have this situation:

torp dmg input IJN vs KM (T3)
KM (35) - 667520
IJN (34) - 532584

KM (100) - 1898260
IJN (100) - 1553370
UK (100) - 1382290

here, we have the results of torp dmg when we're considering the dmg of torps + HitRate of
torps (IJN, US and UK=70%, KM= 91%; HitRate of SS torps have been tested btw)

in the 1st case, we have IJN vs KM, being the 35 and 34 the nunber of torps that each SS
can have,multiplying by 0,7 to IJN and 0,91 to KM, and then multiplyed by the dmg a torp
does. KM WILL do more dmg any time, any day, than an IJN subs

in the 2nd case, we have the same test, but made to an experiment of 100 torps. watch
closely!! the UK, which has the torps with the least dmg, the gap between IJN and UK is
far inferior than the gap between IJn and KM!!

from what i understand UK and IJN have the strongest torps.
KM have proxy
KM have speed so does US
IJN and Uk are both slow
IJN torps have great range which can be nice against other SS.

other then that idk
i have IJN UK US SS3 and KM SS2
so far i like UK and US the most.

its not that the IJN SS1 doesent completly suck (its slloooooooow) but (at leat my
games) are really incosistent, i could have a few games with only 100 attack, then i
get 50k then none.


and yes there are "duds" you shoot at a ship (even at the proper range) and it
passes through them, not shure what you like to call them, but i call them duds

If you want to sink BBs/CVs, then IJN sub is the way to go.

If you want to defend youself from DDs, other subs with easyer aiming, go KM.

some more load of false stuff on Subs.... though last post is in most part correct!

Subs dont have the same time in diving time. I've tested it (only so far) with T3 IJN and
KM, which led to IJN have only 10 sec more diving time than KM... other subs dont know.

then, We got the HitRate of Subs, also tested. Surprise surprise, ALL HAVE THE SAME 70%,
BUT KM, thx to the proximity ability, it virtually increases his HitRate to precisely 91%.
For me, this hitrate isnt a feature, but a bug, imho, specially when this is making the KM
subs too OP
