Not true. The "glitch" you hear about is peoiple doing it wrong. Personally I will use a
mix of both though. Manual DB is not nearly as good as manual TB.

To auto-TB from non-default height, press the 'L' key, then click the target, you'll do a
standard 'auto-TB' attack.

The same thing can be done for dive-bombers to auto-DB from non-default height if you
find manual DB'ing hard/need to get through some heavy AA

The most satisfying thing is one-shotting a BB45 that is trying to sneak in to range under
the cover of the fog of war with only the little black triangle that appears when a ship
launches a plane to guide you.

Boy does that piss people off.

I find it funnier when you drop the bombs right before they get the smoke off. ;)

Manual DBing ships under smoke is just as satisfying as 1 shotting a 4 gold SS3.

Fun fact: you can use manual bombing to bomb enemy ships that are under smoke. You'll have
to pinpoint the ship first either by it launching planes, it firing shells, or someone
hitting it with shells, but it's hella satisfying.

Its semi-colon (;) + left click to get the little green target circle and when they dive
press the period key (.) to drop the bombs.
