Unless there's been something ninja going down in the last six months, the level 44's are
useless in vs. ship combat. They may have AA worth, but I wasn't going to go there since
that's not my strong point.

is lvl40 3p's better than level 44 3p's in gallisionare?

omg thank you so much im still a noob at this game and didnt know how bad the spread was
until i was getting kick out of games for the host thinking i was using auto lol the
spread control is really different from the 6.1 to the 8 (8 is just terriable and all this
time i thought my crew was the problem)

Just noticed the TimmyC comment from many weeks ago.

Extensive testing on the test server pre-implementation showed the max range of the lvl 40
triples to be 52*, and that was dead equal range to the level 47 dual 8's.

Max range for the lvl 40 6.1" Triples is at 55 degrees, not 45, just to let you know. From
that, the 6.1" triples in my testing clearly outrange the lvl 42 8".

I have been using the 42nd level dual 8's on my La Gal and I have been pretty
happy with them. Good damage longer range than the trip 6.1's. at 44 I will try the
trip 6's to see what range diffs are. Damage should be about what 6.1's are but
reload are 2 sec shorter
