sw sounds fine but how do the gun ranges compare to the other nations?

I woould have to rate MN armor about on par with USN for protection and weight,
and in general there is not enough displacement for AWing them, but theyu maintain
their speed well even at max displacements,(jeanne d' arc 49 knts max
displacement), so I would say go on a ship to ship decision.

Especially the CLs which have critfail R slots until lvl 40.

Like KM ships sw is the way to go, Keep moving and pepper the enemy as you use
your speed to keep from getting nailed

That armor does not stop my York from greasing a Tourville like a stuck pig.

I dunno.. tourville makes for a good AWed ship.. though I'd rather much go my 48knts in it.

French armor is a bit pricey..

They mostly lack displacement to put both your crew and sufficient armor on. You're better
off SW'ing.
