Might have to do some more GB2s then, havent seen many games going though. Atleast at my
time of the day.

It might be adding something as my record game with Algiere was 26k exp in GB2 where i
sunk 2 subs with 20k dmg to them plus a bit of scouts shooted down (then again it also
involved pair of bb6 in room shooting each other).

It's also possible that bonus is noticeable only in gb2 because i haven't had such resolt
in gb1 even after sinking 2 subs there.

True, I have a tourville and having both aa and hh helps, but it seems the patch about
getting extra xp from subs was a lie or the extra xp is a minimal amount.

Fortunatly with French CAs you don't have to choose one or another as you can put triple
6" on R slots and good battery of HH on T slots.

AA gives more of everything. Do AA. ASW is chump change and needs to be fixed.

I don't know about the actual bonus exp gain with subs, I just commented on what I was
told how it works and what I have seen personally doing ASW.

The Kita is a bad example now that I think about it because you usually hit many other
things besides a sub, but I have noticed less exp not sinking the sub in my ASW DD's.

I find that the French DDs are quite useful for ASW. Put some torps and DCs on, then
go chase sub around. If he's too far, torp him, if he crits, hover over him until you DC
him to death.

I would say it is the most successful setup.

Hmm...not to sure about the above comment, cause i just sank a SS with HH and HE damage.
Doing 19k damage and a win in GB. Still only 9k xp, is it a bug?

The patch notes say if you attack a SS "successfully" you get the bonus EXP. Someone
explained to me that means if you sink the SS you get the bonus. I have noticed smaller
exp gain with just damaging subs and not getting the final blow versus killing them outright.

Noticed it a lot on my Kita. Would get an average attack of 24-25k without killing subs
and got 8-10k exp. When I got similar attack AND killed subs I got 15-18k exp.
