tbh I do not think it has an effect, or gun would "block" sooner when the ship is
unmoving. not firing perfectly in a broadside position tough might bring the illusion to a
"worse" spread but as your spread tighten, you clearly see its just that the front and
rear gun suddenly have differente distance to travel to your intended target, and should
they be fired at the same angle, one will either be too short or too long.

KM 8" are surprisingly effective. While they do not "block" like USN or UK, they hit
pretty hard and reload the fastest at level, due to KM still enjoying benefit from its
gunner's growth advantage. I've recorded 2 6k broadside with my AH using 8" C/34 N (2nd
set of 8") with LHE of course.

5,9 are impressing by their fire rate, but their main use is like the USN brooklyn: noob
raping.

A decent CA of any nation (safe MN maybe. 5,9 L range nearly range their CAs...lol) will
simply keep you at bay while they happily tear you apart with their range, escaping any
retaliation you send their way.

Aingeal covered a lot of it (you are using the CA Aiming FCS, right?). Firing while OHing
and in certain directions *seems* to give worse spread, but maneuvers to deal with that
are sometimes impossible. FCS, gun type*, and gunner true ability are more easily
controllable.

*The triple 5.9s do have better spread than the dual 8s. But range is (almost)
everything, so it's worth dealing with the spread and running from enemy DD/CL/CA.

you probably have the wrong FCS, finder or a DD one.

I mean you have the wrong gun so I wouldn't be too surprised.

I mean why the hell would you use 5.9" when the 8" (especially the C/34 N) hits even
harder at longer range?

and no the BO doesnt affect the spread, just the lenght of your lines and, in extension,
your spotting range (dissappearing shell due to greater gun range). Not that you have
noticed yet prolly since I suspect you are using 5,9" with HHE on your CA.

...are you OHing more? Firing at oblique angles more? FCS misset (it happens)?

<Insert rant here about how CL guns should not be used on CAs>
