Sure, if you're close enough. 11s provide much more range than the 8s.

I was bored one night and tossed 11"s on my Bissy's T slots :). Couldn't load ammo, but it
looked intimidating lol.

But on a AH, c'mon... 4 shells vs. 8 shells? you get a faster reload time so you lob more
shells at them with the 8" or 6.75" probably making the same damage as 11"

I was more thinking at level tbh. There is no way you can consitantly get all 4 shell to
hit. And even then you are like half a Ppro...but slower.

well i switched at last to 8" twins, just freaking short reload times when u find som1 in
range.
but as i pass most time doing aa only, 4-5 shots with 11" are really fun, maybe for the
bb guns sound on an improbable ship, and people not expecting an AH/PE firing at that
range :D
apart that, i agree 4 shells are really few, but they seem really to blockshot, it's actually
a problem because i'm used to the more spread of the km guns.

Believe it or not, the 11" singles get much closer to blocking than the 8" duals do.

stay on trip 5.9". amazing reload, ubber spread and tons of ammo. range is ok.

well, I used this setup before in GB~
the BB1 range is for sure~ nice spread at about lvl 70 gunners.
I prefer them more than the 8".
yet, those 11" are too heavy! besides, if any things in range of 8", 8" can kill the
others more effective than 11".

for harrassment, 11"~
for a proper CA setup, 8"!
