First of all, I have read the stickies, the guides, several threads through
search etc. This is the situation:

I had been playing navyfield for quite some time (yamato (missouri) server), before I
quite for almost a year (last July).
Loving playing CVs (I had a yorktown but not that great a crew), I had started
raising my main goal, a KM CV crew.
I had: 5 BVE Eite Fighters lvl 40, 1 DB lvl 46 (11/11 Aircraft - Bomber, I know now
that aircraft doesn;t matter), and one rookie (again 11/11) around level 30-35, which
I was raising for second DB.
However, after coming back, gameplay has totally changed, and I know there have
been some patch for CV, and possible some that I don't know, so, what I would like
to know now is what shall I do to have a really good CV crew.

Having read that KM torp bombers now don;t suck, I was thinking maybe I should
also raise 2 TBers? Also, are the DBs good enough, or shall I try to find ones with 12
bomber? What about a seaman (when I quitted they were just started being used)?
(I have a lvl 27 medic also).

Thanks for all the help, Just wanted to make sure I have all the latest info....

Oh, and one last thing: You no more get many credits in a CV in GBII? Cause, I hate
rolling, and was planning on getting some money to buy the neuts / pilots I need....

I have 8 Pilots total (Max amount of pilots able to be used.) 6 Fighters 10/12 and 1
Elite, with 2 Dive bombers 10/12. Get your hand on a Seaman or 2. Fighter/Bomber
stats will matter the most. Use the medic, it helps lower crew death (Try for a +15,
+14 is good enough though.) KM TB's are boring to use because they arn't good and
boring. People will argue saying that they take more "skill" and are more fun to use.
But, when you learn Manual Divebombing, DBing becomes alot more fun then Manual
TB.

Edit*
Do NOT use locals unless they get taken out of the game:).
Do NOT bomberwhore-_-, you give me food, I get fat, I get rich.

@Dbobo:

Well, in the beginning I was not planning on getting any Tbers, but now, I can see
they can be useful both for subs and to be as much versatile as possible (I have
heard people having good results with them, and, If you consider the fact that there
will be some bulgeless BBs after TWs attacks and subs, I can see some point in
there...)

@Einsteib

Sorry, first of all there are 6BVE Elite Fighters lvl 40, so I did have 8 pilots on plan.
For Tbs, I tend to agree with you.
As I mentioned, I already have gunners from my BB crew, so that shall not be a
problem.
Cvs used to lose credits? OMG, that is something I never expected, until I quite it
was like you could make millions fast in CVs.... So, at least you make some now.
Oh, and thanks for the neutral thing, it helped me from doing some mistakes.

By the way, I have decided to level 2 Tbers together with some sub crew I am
levelling right now, to be as versatile as possible (this will give me 6FPs,2DBs,2TBs,
which may be a pain to level all but will be a really nice crew later on...) Does this
seem ok? (I am planning to roll some +12 Bomber if I am lucky...)

Right now you have 7 pilots. I would endorse getting 8 overall, if you aim is to level out
to the final CVs which can accommodate all 8 pilots. It's also easy enough to level all 8
pilots at once because all the KM CVs have room for at least 8 sailors + BO. A TB would
probably make a fine addition to the crew you've outlined. At minimum it can help surface
a sub that's menacing you. Others may disagree about using TB. You can get more pilots or
crew (like seamen) than 8, but remember that you will have to rotate or run a second boat
for the extras.

You might also find main gunners useful for the Europa or Hindenburg. These CVs can be
deadly with their guns in CV Select rooms. But you probably don't need high level ones.

CVs are somewhat less famous for their credits after the changes that made GB2 the
dominant (only on some servers) game type. Credit gain compared to xp in GB2 is slower
than in GB1 or CV Select. But at least it's now positive credit gain (it used to be a net
loss until a patch). Also, depending on when you stopped playing, there were changes to
neutral selling. Check the specifics before you level neuts to 6 and are scratching your
head about why you can't trade them like you used to.

I dunno what they were when you were around, but KM TBs are still pretty much the worst.
Doesn't mean they're bad i suppose, but..

Anyways, KM is a DB nation. I don't see the purpose of TBs here very much. would be like
going UK to use their DBs.
