Taking that you have sufficient crew to already have 900 SD and nearing or at the
Speed caps of the ships Yamato, Super Yamato and Amagi, This should be easy to
get in a couple of Weeks.

The way you play these ships are very important. The Best way to play with them is
defensively. You have already noticed im Sure in some battles that Sometimes
depending on the Scenario it's best really to stay Back and wait. Of course thats not
how it Works for Kongo, Ise and Fuso. I'm not so sure about Nagato. Keep in Mind
that you have the Long Hangtime and the 45 angle(Unless the User is skillled) to
Stay back and wait for e'm.

The Best Way to play these ships in Gunning is shooting your Guns to a place where
your sure that the enemy will be on a Few seconds before they gat there. Very
useful skill.

Now, If someone tries to rush you. You either Run back because chances are your
faster than them(well for SY and Yamato I believe) and shoot them like that or Go at
them at full speed IF you know your angles well. These Ships are the Hardest to
play and the Hardest to get the hang of. But, it pays off. If you learn how to use
your speed advantage well and know where to shoot and know the angles it will
make you better than Other Nations.

Remember to Have AA on you always. It is very usefull in One v.s One games if your
friend or someone challenges you or in GB. Always handy to keep your enemy blind
because they have a 75% less chance of hitting you if you move unpredictedly.
These ships are Used for stealth killing and Ambushing to. Just know your enemy
well and the placements of the Aircraft near your area. I have played quite a few
battles with Yamato and Super Yamato and Learned how to use them. Im not the
best player in the NF world. Im just a decent BB player.

The other you must know about these ships is knowing when to Ambush, Rush(Only
for lower class ships of BBs) and Run.
The right time to Ambush is when the enemy is blind. Trust me, One you do A Salvo
on them they'll start panicking. I have been Ambushed before alot of times and seen
the reactions of lots of players when they get ambushed.
You Run when More than 2 BBs try to attack you. Some Super Yamato , Yamato
players have extreme mastering of these ships and can even fight 5 BBs at a time.
In Amagi. It's not that hard to kill anything so you should be fine battling up to 4 BBs
for a decent and good player just as long as their not all BB5s.

Your rush a BB if their Life is at low or their SD is dead. Just make sure they Don't
shoot more than 1 salvo on you. From personal experience BBs will always shoot
over you if you penetrate into their Range more. Remeber. In Slingshot it Requires
for you to run back. Sometimes it can work. Mostly it works for the SY because it can
Reach up to speeds of 42. Sometimes in Yamato if you got the 40 knot speed cap on
you. In Amagi you already range them. It should be no problem.

Lesson Done.

Never play defensive, otherwise you will be stuck in the "line of doom" (similar to
Circle of death, as just as much fail :) ) Playing the amagi offensively is too much fun,
defensive play is boring.

always carry a scout. and use him well.

in GB it is ok imo to ditch ur aa for a couple of extra reps, this allows u to play a lot
more aggressively, no ur rep rate wont be anything like uk but without the distraction of
aa i find it easier to exploit my 42 kts.

i find it's ok to ditch aa cos i'm quite good at it, if u cant aa then learn it, once ur
competent then it becomes more optional.

always carry a scout. and use him well.

Meh, some people like me and boom21 are very agressive IJN BB players...

As far as AA goes, it is definetly very nice, but a good scout micro-er can beat IJN AA
with some practice. I actually use no AA in FLs so I have a better repair rate, so if I
accidently take a salvo or a few shells, I can quickly be repaired and back into the line of
battle.
