How are 5.3" guns? I never had the chance to try them really and I'm too lazy to claim my
free pcl...

Doomraver
Trip 5,9" L with Light HE and Heavies or AP in second ammo locker. Period.
Blocks like a charm.

the issue with at level 11" richard is actually hitting those DDs :P

Spread is a bit iffy at level with a CL FCS.

8" are quite fine but with only 2 guns, you NEED BVE gunners or above level gunners.

uberspam 5.9's in my opinion. very good for close support of DD's in blitz. plus, have
you see what they do to subs on the surface? *shudders*

combine with high lvl supports :3

11" hits like tard agaisnt cl/dd/ff/ss :P

I would go with 8", spam fast, damage is ok, range checked...

throw the cv IV engine on, instant 25/42.

For the rest it depend on:

-Your level
-The game type you play
-If you are playing it seriously or for lol/grind break (if we can call the lower level a
grind with a casual player hitting a new ship every day)

For at level efficiency, the 8" dual have the drawback of having spread issue a bit. While
its perfectly manageable with 4 gun on the Mpro and AH/PE, its a bit more of a bother when
you only have 2 guns.

Also, unless you are like me and you get your gunner really ahead of your ships, you wont
even have the 8", but the 6.75, which dont hit much.

You can use your small size to be one heck of an hard opponent to play at range, and
nothing short of a block/near block CA will be able to match you at range. But your damage
output will suck a bit.

I personnaly fit 3x5.9L with LHE on it. You get decent range, decent rld and decent at
level spread, unless your gunners are totally rubish. Feel free to choose a backbind of
HHE for DD, but i prefered AP for the average rushing UK beltwhore. (AHAHAHAHA I have 10"
Belt!!! Ow...why is it not working ?)

If you have high 40 BVE or mid 50 gunners feel free to fit the 8" on it. They get a good
enough spread and can be quite mean for KM guns. Also sport a great reload.

For massive LoL single 11" C/34-s N

KM BB1 range (near BB2 as of NF standard) and funny to see. Not really efficient damage
wise, and you need an high level BO to spot the shell, and gunners to control the spread.
That setup is mainly for BB2-3 crew and an owner that is bored :P
