i have a question i have a lvl 83 gunners base 11/11 and i like to boost it, will the
boost be completely useless at this level?

The best time to boost is whenever you want to/can afford to. There's a bit of a benefit
to boosting early, since you'll have the effects of the boost that much longer, but
otherwise there is no real difference.

L8guru: 2.07 million was the old cap for long reload guns. It was changed with the patch
that your notes are for. Testing (most notably with hedgehogs) suggests that it's just
under 2.5 million now:

boost ALL your crew no matter what lvl...

every sailor add's to repair rate...small but it's still ther.

2. The ability cap will be decreased, and now sailor ability that were capped will
show better effects than before.

So it's like 2070k for better cap but 2.5m for the overall reload cap? Did i miss some
thing? an update?

Information on how to find their accuracy and reload true ability (and the old caps) is

It looks like your gunners have 1,592,192 true ability in accuracy and reload this is
either above, or just below the (new) accuracy cap (very approximately 1.6 million at your
level), but well below the (new) reload cap (~2.4 to 2.5 million). Boosting would provide
little to no improvement in accuracy, but a moderate (and perhaps noticeable) improvement
in rate of fire.

Pegleg has a point too... thats why i'm asking to people who knows if boosting my gunners
this late will be utterly useless, but sadly i dont know how to compute the ability of my
gunners all i know is it is the original gunners the nf gave me.. with a base of +11
acc/+11 rel now in level 85 i have a +29/29 stat with ability of 1777/1777 with 93 vets,
524 experts, and 39 recruits..

You should calculate the true ability for accuracy and for reload for your sailor and
compare to the caps. Probably you are at the accuracy cap, but you might be short of
the reload cap. Paying $2.50 to boost the sailor might be more valuable than buying
vets/experts and it will add true ability without adding any weight.

But, you might already be at or close to reload cap, depends on vets/experts.
