Well no, the window wont close. Typically you should be able to highlight the ship you
want to choose. When you click OK a popup would open asking you whether you're sure.
When you click yes the popup would close and the ship tree window would change so that the
ship you just picked is now highlighted in red (I think). Then you hit cancel and the new
ship should be available for purchase. Make sure you're in Tokyo harbor. ;)

ye i did all that for the last week and still no go.

typically when you hit ok on the ship tree the window closes. but when i hit it after
selecting the akatsuki class and hit ok the windoe stays open and does nothing

so your saying on your BO it display ship name but will not let you purchase it, when
you click on new to purchase a new ship is it on the list? if not try to click on the ship
button again on BO and make sure the ship that you select is not grayed out, and
try to exit NF and relogin if you have not done it yet

I have done all that both of youdecribe but the game will not let me move forward.

ill explaine:
Ihav ethe credits i p[lace the BO on the docks in waitting ares i click his little button
ship i choos the atksuki (not sure how spelled) i click ok and nothing happens
stuckon that screen however the blue box with the ship name sas next ship and on
my BO's stats it says nxet ship Atksuki but it doesn't show up in the buying menu for
ships. I am truly disheartened.

For the most part, what they said -- you'll need to select most ships in the tree on your
BO. However, one can still go down the BB line from the Akitsuki. In fact, that's
probably the best choice. Only go down the Fubuki line if you want to play with a sub or
a Kita.

Make sure that you place your BO at waiting dock and select shiptree, please take
time to consider your shiptree, better if you could plan A-Z.

lvl 16 ship is Akitsuki which goes to CV line, or u may wait till lvl 19 (Fubuki) which
goes to BB line.

you need to select the ship for the BO, do this by clicking the SHP button below your BO.
