Vanguard is better in my opinion... because L 1 is kind of boring... L 1 is best if
played as armored.. And it gets boring fast

Vanguard surprisingly does more damage with 15' guns... My experience
It has more range.
Vanguard shell reach is faster due to lower shooting angle 30..
This means Vanguard shoots kind of lasers.. and it is really fun

Vanguard is a nicer ship

nelson is good

L1 is better for players who don't have much skills...

get an L1 its just better

I didn't like the L1 so I BO reset to a Vangod and glad I did. I leveled a UK3 with the
same gunners so I have level 99 gunners on a level 96 BO. So I agree with having
higher level gunners and 5 engs. Go back and make a second crew you need the
higher level support and gunners anyways.
