Grow up guys. Seriously, He's a capital ship in Sub hunting. Either way, the gneisanau
doesn't fare well with BB5s who can scout well anyway.

Fun comes from the unexpected, and those SS surely had fun.

Im glad there is still some people willing to do as they please, instead of trying to
follow the Codex written 6 years ago on how you're supossed to play every other ship...

what about: Keeping out of the SS4 range till it surface, nuke it (or see a DD or SS go
nuke it sometimes) and then procede with your job that is actually sinking other BBs.

You make yourself stronger against SS but way more vulnerable to other BBs and CV.

On your average game, out of the 10 BBs on a team:

5-6 sink at the end of an enemy BB
2-3 are dbed
1-2 are sank by sub.

Also, the 2-3 dbed are the one that dies from it. But you can be sure every BB3+ is
normally dbed at least once in the game. And only 3-4 BB will be attacked by a sub maybe.

Subs are frustrating due to the fact there is nothing you can do against them safe wait
for them to come up for air as a BB, but in the facts, they do not kill BBs that often.

Finish a crippled one, surprise one sometimes.

There is those games where an SS4 sneaks in the middle of a pack of BB, and an IJN SS4
will "one-torp" every BB4 and under, and severely cripple the BB5s, and effectively nukes
half a team.

But those are far from happening that often.

Wasting a BB for that in GB? If u like adventure, buy an FF2M3 (fastest ship) or FFy and kill SSs in the
middle of a bullet storm, lot of fun and excitement :)

If u do that for more xp, I wud rather advise u to use AA than depth charge, it takes less
concentration to AA, gives money and more xp (sometimes I get more xp for AA-ing 1 Fighter than
sinking a ship xD).

Seems our subs or our small craft have sonar. Almost never do I not know where a
sub is, and is in sight.

The very odd time I have to rely on torp fire, it usually works out well, if not, no
damage and I just need to wait for then to surface.

I'm curious. You say you can spot the sub from a distance? How, by observing its torps
nuking your teammates? Wouldn't it be more efficient to bring a sonar ship along as an
escort?

Some here must think that because I have HH loaded, that My Bissy Ls become
useless? I give up speed for armor against subs and close range craft, but my range
is still excellent.

I haven't been sunk by DBs in, well, I don't even remember.

But I do see many BBs sunk by subs, but not if I'm anywhere close.

It's just a fun choice, and seems to work well for me.
