Leveling up a KM sub crew. I have a US ss4 now but wanted to try KM
Do many people use mines with there subs.
I was thinking it would be good for when I have a BB circling above me. I hate it
when it happens with my US sub. Most of the times it happens when I뭢 almost out
of air.
I also like to go under the bb뭩 as a scout if I can see a CV or the Flag CV behind
them.
Great chance to throw acouple of mines for the BB뭩 and not use my torps.

how do you launch mines on a sub? aren't all the weapons fixed? ie. torpedo tubes on
the T slots, and gun(s) on the R slots?

what i do is when i now im about t get sunk for example as shpi obove me or im out
of air with ships shooting at me i jus luanch all the mines i have and hope a rudhing
bb runs into them

AA with emden till you are at the SS2.

Try it on kita with a good engineer. Much easier to be successful.

If T1 SS had T4 type air, then maybe mines would be useful.

Since they don't, you are relegated to laying mines out in the middle of nowhere in the
hopes that some random enemy ships might accidentally run in to one. Mines are an ultra
low chance of success weapon.

Hardly something to make the enemy tremble in their boots...

I뭠l have my SS1 by tonight or tomorrow night. I remember playing my US SS1. I뭠l
hang back and see how the north and south is doing if we뭨e winning then I can try
and rush, if we뭨e losing then I뭠l go and mine the area that has lost there BB뭩.
I used to do this with My Somers a lot. Not much you can expect from an SS1.

I've only tried a few times, but at that level it can be tough enough to get in range of a
BB (let alone to effectively use mines). I used that spot to level my aft torpedoman, but
rarely loaded mines.
