I have some options I guess, medic (not need realy any more), seaman,
repairer or restorer. I know IJN restorers only get 1 class thus have some good
repair skill too, but does the lack of crew growth hinder it vs say a repairer or
seaman. With a seamans huge crew size their repair and restore probably get
fairly high and give a little boost to the rest.

Im leaning towards 1 seaman and 1 repairer (maybe restorer instead), im still
low on the CV lines.

And now I read in the nerf USN t4 or balance t4 thread can't remember that
now a GM claims their is no fighter cap. It would explain some things but I just
wish the game team would put out what works and doesn't work so people
know what to do.

They don't have to tell us where they set the goal post (caps) as long as we
know there is one to get too.

As far as fighters I like my IJN fighter but I am getting the feeling if it stays
imbalanced as it is, they just lost my money that I would ever invest in
boosting or buying elites, because I will never know what they will change next.

I have looked up several posts on seamen, and its a good sailor but also that
the fighter cap is low yet and you can't get better than the cap so whats the
point. True or not I don't know because some swear there is no cap too.

Restorer might work out nice, chance are if they want me dead I will be I just
want to survive so of the sneaky boarder hugging bomber runs. If im lossing
repair and restore will not help much with bb shooting at a CV, lol might actualy
cost me crew.

So far I am starting to like my IJN crew now that I have t3 fighters can't win
them all but do ok and just have to avoid t4 of any type.

Remember that on the higher lvls You'll do lot of grinding on ur PCV.
Then u can use rep or eng as ur BO once u reach PCV lvl. Its very handfull.
I personally use: eng as a BO(eng works on support slot as well as BO slot),
seamen on support slot( i think they make fts slightly better in dogfight),
rest +rep on deck slots,if u decide to go "no guns cv"(they works on deck slots as
well as support slots and they make ship stronger even if u minimalize ship armor).
That comes with 115-175 vets ,BVE in it. It
is important to have high lvl eng for good OH times!(Only eng stats on ENGS!!!
count!)
IJN PCV - (9 support slots+BO slot+2x deck slots)

On the lower lvl cvs, i would use eng in support slot if my fts are good enough and
resign on seamen
