This thread made me play my AD again today. Using my BB5 crew it's quite fun.
Unfortunately my 2nd BO is only level 60-something and not vetted, which makes aiming a
bit of a mess. :-O

The ship is more fun to play than at level imho. Capped speed, reload and SD make it
really awesome. But that goes for every ship, doesn't it? All (KM-)boats are kinda crap at
level. The AD is no exception to that. Yet it doesn't stick out as being particularly bad
either. I never felt sorry for getting it at level.

the tiny hitbox and damage tanking capacity aren't level based, so you start above average
already.

For the rest, usable spread out of the box, and h4x turnrate compensate what you lack in
speed as far as dodging goes.

i forgot to say.. if u can do it.. try to get more tham 100 vet on gunners..

Mate, i got an AD and i can say that it just good when my gunners reach lvl 80 ( 12 acc
10 rel , 100vet full exp boosteds) when i placed 5 engs 2 rep and 1 rest all lvl 80 +
same stats as gunners.. u can use a rep if u dont want a rest.. but a rest is better... the
aa gunns are too bad.. so use reps on aa gun slot and use scout..

AD is good PBB than other PBB but you need to have a better gunner or higher level.

Compared to the other bb's it is great at lvl.

spread will be ok-ish, gets better as you lvl. You will prolly drive it up to bismark lvl. By
that time your spread will be great.

AD is totally useable out of the box.

Main gripe is the speed, it will be slow. Will be ok when your engies are high lvl and full
bve.

its nice mostly at level, I say mostly because I had lvl 80 gunners in the AD rest of the
crew was at lvl

AD gets decent spread in the mid 70s, but the speed is slow. I was able to level quickly
in it, saying it does pack a decent punch if you manage to get in range of bb4/5s.

No. No BB is really great with an at level crew. PBBs though are almost worse then an at
level BB1. Your spread will be terrible and you will be slow. Once you get to 2 gold it
starts looking up and by the mid 80s you can use it to farm. By then though you will be
able to use either of the best BB3s in the game making your AD obsolete.
