I have to make the same choice and It Takes alot of money to start with a CV but i
think its worth it. You will be a key asset to your team.

I say CV for a first ship. BB can be more exciting but far more frustrating. They're also
much more complex and expensive for crew setups. In example, a cv with unboosted dive
bombers and only 40 experts is much more fun than driving a bb and having horrible
engies/reps/gunners/bo.

I don't like assuming every new player has a paypal account and they already want to start
stuffin $70 into the game. Overall, cv's are more fun without premium items.

It game so pick the one you like more. BB are heavy 1shoters that are blind unless scouts
show them the enemy.CV on other hand play more support role by scouting the enemy and at
the same time battle for air superiority.

But from my personal experience go CV line if you start on new server.BB line is ok but
there is big gap between the range and firepower from endgame BB's and the one you will
get at low and mid levels.
CV line is boring as hell until you actually get an carrier but even tier1 can be usefull
as scout and scout hunter (I found that when I scout for my team we win a lot more games
than staying second line and leeching exp)

If you go BB first, less people will yell at you for being a bad player than if you go CV.

I agree with angus, go BB first. Credits is not a problem when going BB line, just train a
new set of crew and sell them afterwards (BBs give tons of exp so leveling sailors is much
easier than CV). Train supports and pilots, they are easy to sell.

good hunting

I prefer CV first so that you can get some good credits for the game. Also, I believe you
learn more because you have more time per game to sit and watch what happens. Then you
have the credits and time for quality sailors as you work your way up the BB line.

Go BB first, it'll teach you the controls and tactics used and needed by both BB and CV
players.

Btw, www.nf-guides.com if you don't know it.

Do you have pilots and a bunch of starter money for a cv? Would you rather be in 4 places
at once while controlling your planes? then yes.

If no, then BB. It's the crew you have been training since level 1.
