CV Woes and Questions (Yes I have searched forums!)

SilverGhost	Hello, All right... I realize that just by posting a thread on this forum I am committing a cardinal sin... but I am very curious on the "right" method of selecting and classing sailors. I have read all the guides I could find (specifically Adalbert's), but have found many people to have said they are outdated due to patches. So my questions are in regards to selecting a CV crew with the LATEST PATCHES TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT: -Aircraft Stat: Is this still disabled and thus useless? Therefore is a 12/12 Ftr/Bomb the best (roll-able) combination for a Scout? -Fighter Selection: Is a 11/12 Ftr/Bomb still superior to a 12/11 etc? Essentially what is more critical for Fighters, the Ftr or Bmb stat? Should I Promote my fighters to Ace/SqLdr etc or leave them as Ftr? (to take advantage of bomber stat growth?) -For Bomber Pilots is only the Bomber stat all that still matters? Hello,

Adamai	all you need to know is fighter stat only works on scouts. you will need high base stats for all other pilot types. reason is your bombers will make use of the bomber stat which is on your ftr pilots and vice versa with your ftrs stat on your bombers. also train up a seaman too, try to get +10 across the board so it boosts all stats. or try to get +12 ftr /+11 bombers. my seaman is universal for all my ships so i have across the board 10's. seaman grant a small bonus to all sailors stats. and train up some good AA gunners, for uk i would say get some elite Acc gunners and class them as reloaders for your AA option, i dont knopw much about other cv's.

Megadone	@ko1078 1 - I had a CV nooblet. 2 - allready said I'm guessing for aircraft ability IMO read much? 3 - show me a patch notes where it says bomber stat affects a scout cheers Megadone

ko1078	ignore mega he does not know what he is talking about and does not even have a cv fp only stats that matter anymore are fp bomber stat used to affect aaw immunity but that got canceled in a recent patch bombers and scouts only effected stat is bomber affects the amount of aaw immunity (how close they can get till they start getting hit if hit at all) aircraft stat is like aaw stat on a sailor it is useless it does absolutely nothing in my opinion boost them asap and class them as quick as you can

meuhbat	ftrs : only fighter true ability bombers : only bomber true ability scouts :only aircraft true ability in every case, the ability matters for attack, defense and aaw immunity at the same time. sight range, loading time, speed etc are fixed values that cannot be changed by your ability. true ability means that unclassed ftr pilots should still be > to classed ones, but I don't bet on this, and I don't advise you to bet on this either, cause if they fix it someday you will cry.

Megadone	only designed stats affetcs a plane now, wich means yes onl Fighters stat works for FP's and yes Elites are now worth to buy. Bomber state doesn't NOT affect Fighters anymore. Aircraft ability affects your scouts ability to stay in air longer.... <<< I might be wrong lol I'm guessing for this. eather way Aircraft only works on Scouts now cheers Megadone

SilverGhost	So... to recap at the risk of sounding excessively ignorant...... the only stat that matters now for fighters is the "Fighter" stat? I guess that makes Premium Fighters now worth the buy? Bomber stat no longer affects fighter durability? What's the aircraft stat do for scouts? durability? or sight range? Apologies for all the tedious questions

Megadone	Aircraft = works for scouts only Fighter = works for Fighters only Bomber = works for Bombers only yes they changed it, so lots of ppl got crapy FP's now, eather way you don't lose anything by classing them on time so go for it, just make sure to BVE them all. all so pro tip, scouting = more wins = more exp for you while on other hand, bombing = more lose = less exp for you cheers Megadone
