  • Some Dreadnaught questions

Ok I've been thinking about this new holiday event and i think I could get the 20
coins required for the EBB 1. I have IJN KM and RN crews I don't think I want Nassau
and the Mikasa is my second choice. So it's the Dreadnaught unless there are
terrible things about it I tried a search and couldn't find a single thread searching
the ship name or EBB. So what do you guys think of the ship what is its shell
damage? however in the unlikely event I get the 28 coins I will probably get the UK
EBB3 but I may still get the Dreadnaught any how because I think it is the 2cnd
coolest EBB behind New York but I don't have a US crew Thanks guys
Thanks guys

I wasn't planning to get it to count on as a main ship mostly just for lols and rushing
with fleet mates and fun i've always thought it was cool and wanted one the only
reason i wouldn't have gotten one was if it were terrible. it doesn't seem to suck
totally so i think my mind is made up now the only thing that keeps me from 100
percent is that ise with 16 inch L guns. but i don't think i will get that many coins
Thanks again folks for all your input

The Dreadnought is an ok ship with good supports. Its guns hit like KM 11", but with
enough dodging, and luck, you can do decent damage on BBs. Mind you, the 12" also
reloads decently fast. However, since it's mostly BB4-5s in GB2, playing Dreadnought in
GB2 might be a bit painful, to say the least.

ma luvly dready was doin 23/39 before ma crew got 2heavy and ma luvly dready just luvz
ijn bb4 n 5

its just like smaller alaska with better spread and range just short of dumbquerke
cna take few hits tho sometimes u might get in trouble with one has lots of ammo and
pompoms are quite annoyin for the cv players avg games in dready 140k dmg
best 250k+ worse 35creds :P

The Dreadnought can be fun if you have good supports. Its only good for 22/37 max
with good engies, otherwise you'll be stuck going 22/33. It can take a decent beating
compared to a normal BB1, and most players confuse it for a CL. As for the guns they hit
like KM 11s.

Overall its a challenging, but fun ship to play. I would not recommend it for beginners.
Get an EBB2, EBB3, NY or a Mikasa instead

Man thats a real bummer. I really liked the way the ship looked so I guess now its
up to the Mikasa and Nassau then if i only have enough coins to buy and EBB1. Nuts
I was hoping it wouldn't blow.
Thanks guys Levi

If you want small powerful ships go MN, because the dreadnought just plain sucks.
The AA is the only thing keeping it from being garbage and thats if you use the poms
because of the small gun space.

Cant take a hit, very low displacement, is weaker than all UK BBs in terms of power.
It's 12" guns can't use AP because the shell damage/weight is so low it can't even
penetrate at max angle. Its a CA killer or good in CV hunts, thats just it.

Dersico
Search part of a ship's name next time, like "Dre"

Apparently the Dreadnought is like a BB1 with tiny guns
