i had a L1, but i stupidly BO reset him to vanny and have regretted the decision for
quite a while now

L1: 3x triple 16s, can AW, can SW, can take alot of hits, can go faster, slightly less
range, more damage per shell, sightly longer reload

vanny: weak 4x dual 15s, cant AW, can SW, cant take alot of hits, can go fast, more
range than L1 (L1 range is 2 inches shorter than L2, vanny range is 1 inch shorter
than L2), slightly faster reload, weaker shell damage (seems to have no effect on
high lvl BBs)

someone told me before i bo resetted from L1 to vanny, that the vanny's playstyle is
more like KM's

To answer all of your questions, the player makes the ship. I have both and I will
always prefer the vangaurd. Also if you want to compare ship stats use navyfield's
GAME INFO -> Shipyard. Some of those may be a bit outdated. Or you should use
