These ships do not have the same range, if equipped the proper guns for the ship.
Also every ship has N L D version guns except bb5 and up, they get guns at lvl 100, 110
and bb6 the 120 guns.

As for the lion compared to the nelson, if you speedwhore a lion with only 2 guns you
will probably have a great time in GB since many people do not know how to see an
unarmored ship, thus they will AP you and hardly do damage.

I myself have all uk bb's and I can tell you, even though L1 is the shortest range BB4, it
has firepower that cannot be matched at that level in any UK ship, the spread is very
tight and with proper aiming (no not auto-fcs) you can probably start one shotting
underleveled bbs and other ships.

Best thing to do is put the L1 guns on the front of your L1 and a trip 16'' gun used on
the Nelson on the back then load up a test mission in one of the free areas and test fire
the guns.

I range Nelson with my 84 lvl Dankerque_RN crew! Lion must dominate i think.

Is almost same range... but, I think that Nelson is better with 14" guns...

did some tests. lvl105 bve elite reload, reload gunners.

nelson's Ls have aroun 34 dots of range, (though it scatters a lot,
and it can reach 34.5 range, and 33.7 range), i take 34 as it's average.

Lion 1 Ns have 34 or 33.9 range. the spread is a lot more consistant.

Lion 1 Ls have 35.5 range.

take ur conclusions.

something is wrong, u should use the L version in the Lion.

their even L's?

the range difference between the nelson L and the lion 1 L is very slight..

you should wonder, does the L1 have the same spread as Nelson?
the answer for both questions are no, L1 has better range and spread.

remember though that L1 is the lowest range BB4.
also remember that L1 is really a Lion :P and u will love it.
it's hard at first to learn this ship, but when u will learn
how to dance in the rain like an AD, u will be a terror in the sea :D
