If you would look at any of the guides, you would see that KM has very linear and
progressive ship lines and guns. We never have the problem of using anything but the L
guns on any BB.

Except the BB1s but I still think the 11" 52cal Ls work best for those.

clearly you dont see where the post was aimed at. He said nothing about the CVs ,
he clearly means the BBs and the rest of the KM line but this applies to all ships in
the game. If a ship can hold the Ls with good ammo always go for the Ls of the
largest guns. If it doesnt then use the Ns unless a lower size gun set of Ls have
more range.

now, besides on CVs you shouldnt have guns anyways thats why they are CVs, if it
was meant to have massive guns they wouldnt have built the flat tops in the first
place.

Wrong.

They both deal the same damage per shell. Both share the same maximum angles
for armor penetration purposes. Also, always use L's when they are available.
Range is king for the KM. Use it or you will never succeed with the KM.

Yes, sometimes you cant use the L guns but this doesnt mean that you have to use the D
guns, if you can fit the L in your ship, use the N guns (N=normal=regular)

You're correct about what they describe with the guns. But there are times when you can't
use the Ls (5.9s on Mpro, 8s on Kberg and Mpro, 1st set of 11s on Dland, 2nd set of 11s on
P2, and Scharnhorst)

I suppose L could stand for "long." Not sure about D. "Damage?"
