what an experimented player might do is find a weakness in the battleline and rush it
(often around middle). Keeping to the alaska/Guam is painful, but quite rewarding in the
way you learn what is a USN BB and you'll use the tactic again with the sodak.

Take out smaller stuff, kita that rush center to drop its torp, CA that comes too close,
another BB1 that strayed from his battle line, etc. AA for the BBs if you are going with
AA, if not stick to a bigger BB and rush his target when its distracted by your bigger friend.

At all cost avoid being alone in front of the battle line. If I'm a BB5 and I see that BB1
rusing alone, I'll just send a single salvo your way and you prolly will sink in a single
shot. If the BB5 is engaged with another BB5 or any BB234 in fact, you'll be ignored. if
whatever the bigger BB5 is shooting at is bout to die tough, turn tail before it start
shooting at you.

Always aware with enemy aircraft (fighter / bomber / scout), try avoid that or shoot their
plane if you can, just make sure when you try engage enemy when you think is safe, check
again and sometimes, enemy scout nearby north or south border (it's quite hard since you
only can see plane's shadow or to predict their altitude)

At last, try watch your BB team when your ship sunk (many player just leaving when this
happen), watch and learn from experience
Don't make same mistake and keep practice ^^

I see your gameplay, you often moving straight even you got hit, try avoid this :D

Sorry for my bad english :(

If I am on your enemy's side, i'll let you know. Just kidding.

Usually they run away far from your battle line when blind. When you see no scouts
around you (well except if there are enemy subs around you).

Sometimes I see messages from the enemy side like "VICION PLS MEN", "SCOULTS
PLS", "VICION SUR/NORTE" or "NOOB CVS". I assume that they are blind jejeje.

Thank you Jag, thats some really helpful info :) I just got one more question.. What
are some indicators that the enemy bbs are blind?

Sevas can only mount 4 scouts, so better use them wise. I don't usually send scouts
early in the combat since most of the ships along me will send their scouts in the
same hemisphere. Not totally recommended but when the situation is there, i refrain
from sending.

If you do send a scout, keep your scout below the default height and stay away from
AAW range. Just enough distance where you can see the ship or it's silhouette.

Now that you have scouted the enemy keep close to the big boys but not too close
to invite crossing and team killing situations when evasive maneuvers are done in
the battle line. Remember to keep your speed in the cruising speed to preserve
overheat.

When the battle line is in the heat of the battle. Choose a target depending on the
situation. Mostly another PBB, BB1, BB3 or BB3 will be close to you since they need to
get closer to your battle line to get some hits too. Pick one, rush and use your
overheat to get close, drop a few shots then pull back when your overheat is nearing
exhaustion or you are running out of SD. Be aware of the blue arrow on your health
bar. If it's way near the starting line, pull out. Don't wait for the moment that your
green line turns to orange. Get back behind your battle line to regain health and
overheat so you can perform the same tactics again.

If the enemy battle line is blind, you can easily rush in and shoot them to hell. Just
keep on weaving and dodging so that they cannot predict your destination and get a
blind shot at you. Remember to fall back if you are about to run out of overheat and
SD.

Sevas is not really a viable ship to use AA unlike Guam and it will just slow you down.
So personally I don't recommend it.

Some may say that Sevas can't play like an Alaska, Guam or SoDak. If you have good
engineers you can play it likely that way. Don't let the look of Sevas deceive you, it
looks like a decent line of battle ship because of broadside power and structural
strength. It is rated BB3.5 but still outranged by SoDak and other BB3s. It is not as
fast as Sodak. So anything below SoDak's level must be played like a ninja.

Don't be so craving for BB4s and BB5s because at early levels, you are their food.
Pick on ships in your range. If you are behind or along the battle line, some enemy
BB12s, CA or CLs will try to rush in, don't hesitate to cripple them.

It's pretty hard and i am by no means an experienced player, im just learning how to
use the alaska myself. But the main thing is scouting/and rushing when the enemy is
blind. What you want to do is stay in range for you to fire when they're either blind
or that 1 ship is the only ship that can hit you in range, then you can both fire off
salvos and youll do pretty good in a seva.

Get better engineers? Or you can do what I do and just AA to level.

How do i dodge effectivley? I try to that one salvo and run thing, but by the time i
get in range, im crippled and when i turn around to go back I die. lol. Its very
frusterating sometimes and its taking me forever to level because i only get 4k for a
loss and 12k for a win
