well ill jump on the test server today and see whats up and hopefully get some testing
done with the bb3-bb6 which i will enjoy testing. hopefully get the dd's tested as well.

Cambsguy but when the servers go down wednesday night, you can still get on the
test server, so that time that you could be grinding really isn't there and that gives
you atleast 2 hrs to test some things out that could balance out the game better
when it gets introduced into the game for all players.

i made the decision NOT to test based on:

1. actions like these (cant you trace the IP on that account and find who it was in game?)
2. no personal accounts
3. having a russian CV6 to play with would only spoil the fun of working up to it
4. as a very personal reason of playing on test server while i didnt get to level my
account and the waste of prem that would bring

The lack of credits will be addressed this week. It will be raised to 1000M credits and
points per account.

Also I hope the sailor issue will eb resolved.

It will also tighten up when we switch to the Server only being available for the
specified testing periods. At that point we can better control the system, the access
and the monitoring of who is doing what. Always knew there would be some
childish antics with the server being available all the time, but hopefully we can just
work through it for now doing the bug hunt and then we can switch in to organised
programming soon.

For those that are being childish and abusing this trust given to wider community
involvement, please consider your actions carefully as you are in danger of being
seen as a disruptive influence and that could carry across to your access to the main
servers as well.

then when they made it why didnt they just make it like the last test server? i mean the
crews are the same as then (except we had actual usable crews) and we were on our
account that can only be used by us. but if thats too much to ask for then why not give
us a test account so only we can get on it so things wont get messed up

Test server is unrelated to the real server. Having access to "our main account"
means the GM have to manually create one by one. It is something that has been
refused, when I ask them.

This is becoming too much of a hassle to do any testing at all. People log on to
different accounts and take credits/sailors for the purpose of purchasing a bb6/cv6,
leaving the other account useless. A method of accessing a single reserved account seems
like a much better option.(in a similar fashion that the older test server was)

To top it all off, core testers are trading sailors to open testing accounts, who will
then run rampant and 1-shot everybody who is trying to do any testing that is worth merit.
This is an extreme deterrent from the test server. The core testers, I can imagine, are
doing this with good intentions, but people are abusing it.

We need the ability to access our own accounts on the test server. We won't have to worry
about naming our ships, stealing of credits/sailors, and any kind of fraud if we do this.
I'm all for it.

I was afraid this was going to happen... Sad there Will be allways people that are only
interested in messing things
up for others.

Anyways, the accounts will be reset anyways. If there's any account with proper sailors,
they can be put in HQ, that
won't be reset.

Ya I went on an accout one time before Russians were put on and it had a Alsace
crew with 3 120 restorers, really 3 restorers. I took me 20 mins before I could find a
descent unused acc to test on. Really I look forward to testing.
