When to try to roll for vets on support sailors?

I have 4 us engies and 4 us repairers, around lvl 58. They all have about 50 vets,
and 100 experts. Should I leave them alone until they get more experts or try to vet
them right away>?

if you have a prem acc you can try to rool them to 100 vets
but like rocket say, convertion event, is always the best time
