So, is the Hackshield version included in the testserver client the same as the one
introduced with todays patch? And did I already unknowingly install a rootkit on my PC
with the execution of the testserver client?

Yeah, I'm royally pissed that HS was latched to the testserver client without any warnings
given out. Some people have been lucky and the AV detected the rootkit when extracting the
.zip, but unfortunately MS Internet Essentials didn't.

I am now going to format and reinstall, seeing as it's the only fool prove method atm to
get rid of this crap for good.

look into the zip file NFNA_Dev_Patch.zip ... there you will find the folder HShield, with
all the installation stuff for a rootkit. Great thing is, i do not feel that i was
informed beforehand, that i will install a software that will be more then difficult to
install, and that will make my computer instable, vulnerable, a possible spam machine or
even a point from where DDOS or hack attacks are started. And even more, due to the
regualtions from various countries and also companies, I am then not allowed to use this
computer for online banking, as I dont have cared enough to prevent me and the computer
from harm by hackers.

The nex best thing is ... there isnt even an official unistaller that removes that
software. something that sony-bmg was forced after their root-kit attack onto their
customers. So i personally think it would be wise for SDE to provide at least information
how to remove their software and the software called hackshield.

Win7 always asks me for admin rights when I start the normal NF launcher anyway. -.-
