I haven't had a chance to play one yet since most of the accounts are fubar, so, what are your thoughts?

Just up (or is it down? I can't remember) the HE defense value. That increases the ships
deck armour weight. No need to affect belt armour or bulge amounts.

I thought I already nerfed the armor by reducing the maximum displacement by 15k
tons. I'll double check asap.

"MM has denied 35kn 3 times over the last 2 weeks LJ, it isn't going to happen, as it
would simply create too much drama with the general public."

>>> I've not seen him deny it. He hasn't told me anything. If he wants to come and
post that and have a discussion, I will welcome it. It wouldn't create any drama
whatsoever. It would be well balanced with that setup. SN is meant to be the slowest.
Giving it 37, high damage and comparable range to Kaiser would be horrible.

"Giving it closer to average BB6 damage doesn't make sense either, as SN should have
"high damage", or at least higher than average."

>>> That is why you give it 2nd range and lower speed than Kaiser. I.e. 35.

"I can only think of a turning force and durability nerf to balance it. Also, displacement
should not be touched again, we should adjust by using main guns wight and base
speed values to prevent "random" changes because of SDE's hidden formulas."

>>> You can always change Engine HP... I believe it has a dedicated engine that no
other ship uses right? Changing the main guns weight works also.

Oh, and increase the weight of the deck armour so it can't bounce Kaiser/QV or
Charlemagne.

I can only think of a turning force and durability nerf to balance it. Also, displacement

The problem is:
Soviet nation trait is slow and less maneuvorable than respective tier.
It should be slow, but it should be reasonable. That's where the hard task is.
Looking for the reasonable feature is a pain in the ass.

That it "has long range hitting hard" feature.

That was SDE choices.

In my opinion without speed noone will play it anyway because it will be a floating
sail boat. I say give it speed between Kaiser and Nebby. Hitting power to be
between Nebby and QE. 45 Degree max angle so a Hang time of a little less than
Amagi. And give it range between QE and Nebraska.

There are two options imo:

1) 37 knots, 45 degree's, Range between Nebby and Kaiser, and damage at around Kaiser/Nebby/QV.

2) 35 knots, 45 degree's, Range between Nebby and Kaiser, and damage at between QV and Amagi.

I think the 2nd option would be a more unique playstyle, and more to the SN description. Of course
deck armour weight needs to be increased so that they can't armour whore against any of the BB6's.

Rehor
Full decking, 34 knots, and able to bounce any BB5 or BB6 (QV is just screwball).

Define remove completely.
As far as I know amagi, does not have aw ability. But it can carry enough deck to
bounce kaiser.
