I just went over the latest patch, and there's a few issues there.

It seems some of the range adjustments didn't went exactly as we planned it (something I
was afraid of that it would happen if we mess around with range much).

So if you see something that definately needs adjusting, please post about it, so that we
can request it.

Unfortunately, the core group of guys working on this is extremely small.

Nobody is stopping anybody from tossing out opinions here; we're not locked set in what
has to be done and it's not what we want to see the Soviet nation become.

But we do know that some values affect many other values, and some of the technical stuff
that is either very difficult or flat impossible for the devs to modify. Balance has to
take place within our knowledge and theirs.

Keep up the debate. We're not fans of being nine people deciding on a whole nation's
balance, but that won't stop us from working hard on it while much of the public lets us.

@nikv

Those changes are chance less

Do you have any idea what that would cause ? The shell weight changes would severely mess up the range (as
would the muzzle velocity change).

With the 45 angle of the guns, armor penetration is quite good already. What we currently see is a ship that does
great damage with the triples and already to much damage with the quads. Increasing all those stats would make it
overpowered a lot.

As for the bb6 range, that needs another adjustment, just like the bb4. Those changes didn't turn out the way we
wanted. Also the bb4 speed jumped up 4 knots, something we didn't want either, so that would need adjusting again
also.

We will have all weekend to gather results and make a new request since the devs wont be able to work on it before
that anyway due to the lunar new year holidays in Korea.

Increase Weight of projectiles - increase armor piercing
angle 45
1108 - 30
1150 - 32
1200 - 35
1300 ~ 40

angle 40
1150 ~ 26
1200 ~ 30

16''/ 45 Pattern 1914 was reduced elevation - reduced armor piercing. Needed to compensate.
16'' Vickers Pattern A was reduced damage.It is also necessary to compensate for a small
increase armorpiercing.
With 16''Vickers Pattern A Sovietsky Soyuz only linear defensive ship. Low speed and long
flight projectiles will not allow an active attack even bb4. Therefore it is necessary to
enable the Sovietsky Soyuz 16 "/ 50 B-37 to give more attacking opportunities - to reduce
the flight of shells.

Good damage - the advantage of the nation.
But now Sovietsky Soyuz (16 "/ 50 B-37) and Project 24 have one of the worst damage in the
class, it is necessary to correct
Sovietsky Soyuz (16 "/ 50 B-37) 51750 -> 54000
Project 24 53100 -> 58500

Sovietsky Soyuz and Project 24 slow and not maneuverable ships, will suffer greatly from
pbb and DB. Therefore it is necessary slightly increase durability.

Stalingrad displacement - more realistic.
12"/62 SM-33 was increased elevation - increased flight projectiles.Needed to compensate.

Nikv, what are your reasons behind those changes? and do you know what those changes
actually will do in game?...

The screens I've seen show the range to be fine. Just needs the damage buff (possibly
with spread included).
