In a CV2, unless you have a minimum of T3-level pilots it's pointless trying to compete
(especially now people use T4's more frequently). As such, it's easier to try and find the
flag and sink it. As a quick rule of thumb, a CV cannot take a full bomb run from a similar
sized/larger tier CV till CV5+ level.

As you're not going to be a 'front-line' CV, then load as many locals as you are
comfortable with and keep them for self-defense, you only need to quick load a couple
to nuke entire bomber-waves due to their speed and high-lvl fighters will still eat them
alive.

Thanks for the advice, should I put 12, 10, or 8 locals and just fill the rest with
bombers types. The only reason I put so much on is cause my locals always get eaten by
tier 4 fighters in GB2. Which is why I put on 16, but I see what your saying about putting
on more bombers, thanks for the advice. :)

More bombers, less locals. Keep the locals to clear your deck/kill scouts. Your bombers
are potentially going to make more of a difference than your fighters at-level
