"CVs are getting done this weekend, MM is trying to contact V2C apparently for it."
Quotes from Angus:-

"I was wondering if it should go 40kn with less range than it has now, but here's a
quote from DarkGM

"Range changes are not an option anymore".

The speed will have to stay at 39 in that case."

"Again, range cannot be changed anymore; it appears that we've ran out of time with
SN. The balance deadline+release date has been pretty much set in stone by SDE
management also. TBH, I feel responsible for this, as if there was any one person
who could have balanced SN, and had the time and influence to, it was me".

-----------------------------------------------------

So, where were the rest of the test team? I only saw Mailman on from the original
selection, and i've done ALOT of testing.

And, no offense to Angus, but who made him King of Balance? Surely consulting the
community on changes and listening to them is what this forum is for?

it's not just the soviet BB's that have impressive submergance, the CV's also have far too
high of a submergance value.

ie SU BB5 does 18k with 4x 110 guns to a Malta (UK CV5) with 900sd (no armour) While it
does 15~16k on the SU CV5. Up the factor to full salvos from any ship and the SU CV's
4/5/6/pcv all have a significant advantage over the core nations.

Phat, translate that accurately into korean, and we may get the right value. >.>

2 values? Don't joke with me. Last time rehor, you and I requested to nerf their
submergence. The result? Nada was changed. Andrei submergence was *changed*,
but ironically, the AP hull cap remain the same.

You ask to fix the submergence of one of the bb2 or bb3 identical to nelson, and
they surprise, nothing was changed once again.

Again, you requested for stalingrad to have H39 submergence, and they barely
changed it. It still take much more hits than the Lion I itself.

From these event, made me conclude that they are playing with values they aren't
even sure what they are. Proof, they don't even know what the hell is the hull cap
and some of the patch was definetely changed.
Prove me I am wrong.

Simple, tell them that AP cap is a relation of their hidden value.

Yes...we know submergence values of SN ships are still very strange. There appears to
be 2 submergence values, and we know only 1 of them.

As far as changes go, there should be a patch once SN comes out to adjust a few final
things.

Lol...just fought a duel between a SS and Monty. Monty got one shotted on many occasions,
and a full Monty salvo doesn't hurt it as much as other BB5. The Monty is generally accepted
by current standards due to sometimes random spreads. The SS's spread on both gunsets
were very manageable and very deadly. Monty with AA is not as effective as a Monty withut,
whilst the SS can do it's job of killing BBs brilliantly with or without AA.

And now we can't change anything anymore...

The deadline wasn't unreasonable IF people were active testing from the start; Most were
not. However, a large percentage of TNF didn't do a thing, as did a large amount of the
community testers picked.

On top of that, you should take into account proper crew weight angus; Remember, BO's
get trimmed.

I'm sure if we have the whole team on each weekend for a month, and the patches were
implemented correctly, we would have Russia being the most successful new content
implementation the game has seen. There isn't one person to blame. There is the majority
of the team that didn't show up and do their jobs.

Its a pity, because there have been some that have worked very hard.

Richard...

Without AA, it goes 35kn also.

Though if you rig the crew a little, you can get 37kn.

I forsaw this, as did a few others. There isn't a single person to be blamed, there
are lots of factors that contribute to this problem. We have all pointed them out
here, there, and every where. Until SDE, and the comunity, gets more serious about
balancing, this will always be the result. Here are some of the issues I have noticed:

-Lack of understanding of game code, by everyone, including SDE.
-Language barrier.
-Lack of comunication.
-Lack of coordination.
-Noobs messing up public accounts.
-Unreasonable deadline.

These are just a few things that I have noticed.

MM, I used the BB engine probably the last tier BB engine. With full crew it goes 34 knots
with no bulge, no belt, no aa, just ammo and the crew.
Unless there is another set of engine, hidden somwhere I didnt see.
