the alaska and guam are especially soft on armour vs 8" duals or trips on a CA, or
PCL.

swarming them is also a good tactic, no matter how big they are, if the punishment's
coming from all sides there's not much they can do about it.

try to catch them off guard while they're interested in somebody else. if you can
survive a volley or two, and you're guns reload fast enough you should be able to
take out almost any BB1 (the French ones are a pain to deal with though).

and as the man said at the begining. you can't outrange a BB for guns. so sitting at
your max range, missing 9 out of 10 shells (or more), one good whallop and you're
gone.

I see this time and time again in blitz. the same with calls for CVs to "take out the BB
first!"

I tell you, if I'm in a cv in a blitz game, the only reason a bb is on the top of my target
list is because A) there's no enemy CV or hybrid to take out first that'll put me out.
and B) my primary targets are the Kita and other mass torp IJN ships.

Really have at least 2 CL or CA to use there guns, stay at range, exploit the BB1

Well that's exactly how not to fight a BB1 in blitz. Max range vs their bad
spread. If they have good spread, it won't matter - do as much damage or
wait for other players.
Was fighting an Alaska in a NDD with another player using 7' DDX and the
whole time, everyone told us to get closer. It was amazing that we were
pecking away at the BB and he couldn't hit us yet everyone thought it was
better to get closer. Yes we may have hit at a higher rate but what does that
matter if you are sunk in the process? The Hobbit Map and current mentality
of players is - get it done fast even if you are killed in the process. I'd rather
drag it out and win. What the F do you learn from a suicide run anyway?

use a CA (York,North Hampton,ect) or a good CL (Expecially Brookyln) with high level
gunners = Blocks use Light HE Shells.

I used a brookyln with 6" Triples with 11/10 Base B/V/E Gunners They block shotted
various ships. Also CA NH New Orleans and Portland are excllent ship to block shot with.
As for DDs and FFs use torpedos and speed for a advantage.

If you're in any KM DD (especially the Z99 and the fake CL), then you can just laugh at all the BB1s.
If you're in an FF-X with 6" singles, then you can kill the BB1 and. CV :P

not all bb1 are new players around 1/8 are vets / experience that level their elite
crew/new bb crew if you rush without knowing you won't reach the bb

PATIENCE
take not of whats suck with the bb1 before rushing or look around the bb if there enemies
within... dont rush like a kamikaze boat :D find some team mate who is willing to sink the
bb1 with you

please note that bb1 is not as bad as it looks
i see most of the players that is new to bb line try their first bb, use auto, heavy he, D
guns and torps, and see its ugly spread, slow speed and manuver, big hitbox size, and
suckish reload makes them go back to their ca (or lower)
