Doesnt matter if you have rooks expert etc. I just skeltonize mine aka take off all
rooks to save weight. And ability doesnt matter eather.

I think he's asking if you can use a radioman as a BO for a prem ship or ff and have the
comm stat count for sight range.

does negative skill make the guide lines point backwards?

Too bad NF doesn't allow skills to go under 0 ability.

I'd love to see what negative repair and potential does

Angus, I suggestion not to talk idiocy, especially when you're a forum moderator.
Remember that radioman get a mega nerf in every skill, and your growth get in the negative.

@communication
Pretty sure most of us don't even bother regarding radioman.
Even if provides great communication label, it does not mean that it would contribute in
potential. Check special force and airlift, sonar planesman for example.

And ability does not work regarding ton of weight. It works with true ability.

Re-edited. If I were to shoot the whole theory, not sure if you would still follow me.

My first question was i"f Radiomen had potential renamed as communications, would they have a higher potential
ability than BOs at some point?"
The second question is "is communications potential renamed?"

The only thing I think a radioman can do is to contribute to repair and restore abilities,
but even then it is much much less than a repair or even restorer.

As far as your question goes, no, weight has nothing to do with ability.
