Japans nuclear powerplant 160 miles away from tokyo has confirmed that radiation
is leaking from the reactor due to their attempts to fix the cool down failure the
nuclear reactor has to realease atomic material.

i really wish and pray they fix this i dont want to see anymore lives lost especially
from radiation.

*EDIT* PRIME MINISTER OF JAPAN ORDERS PEOPLE WITHIN 10 KILOMETERS OF
FUKUSHIMA PLANT TO EVACUATE!

Well, one of the things that the techs have to do is work in extremely short shifts.
Picture trying to get the job done in 20 minutes. Some people can't even land a shot on
the enemy in a 20 minute GB2.

They got Chernobyl to learn from.

Anybody care to donate more water pumps? I think there has to be at least one that can be
placed by helicopter. Also the pilots have 40 minute shifts.

"Lol thats just GREAT ... Not now we gotta worry about radiation thanks to japans
nuclear reactors ...I guess thats what happens when a nation is allies with a country
with no brains?"

Most. Ignorant. Statement. EVER!
Don't be a Baka (moron).

Also, I agree with StormVAnger because Japan with no robots is like NavyFIELD with
no internet. It's not gonna work.
Also, yes maybe they could get Godzilla to om nom nom all the radiation and save
people. xD
Okay, Godzilla's obviously not real, but you gotta admit it would be a cool solution if
that's what they did to save Fukushima Dai-Ichi.

Can we please remove the picture from the first page? Its misleading, and fake.

Anyway, today things were described as "under control" and "stable"

So nothing worse, but nothing better either.

I wonder if the apathetic people in this thread really talk like they do in real life. And
how many times they've been jacked in the face for saying stupid shit. It takes a lot of
real life social deprivation to openly associate these unfortunate events with things like
"Revenge" or "Hiroshima/Nagasaki".

P.S. I'm a US citizen and I proudly sent a donation to the American Red Cross
International Relief Fund.

What I find interesting is that they don't have any robotic or remote control inspection
capability. Japan. No robots. Irony.

Oh, and I'm praying. Praying that they get it under control, and praying for the 50 techs
who are staying onsite to work this. They'll have medical issues in 20 years, you can be
sure.

Yes, the steam is the main cause of Radiation. The Fire in the fuel pool at reactor 4 is
also emitting radiation as well.

And with the new fear that the containment vessel on Reactors 2 and 3 may be damaged, its
another source for radiation. But both those reports are still unconfirmed since no one
can get near the reactors to inspect the containment vessels. We won't know if any damage
exists for weeks.

Seawater start to boil in reactor so they have to lower pressure by releasing it, thats where the
radiation gets out
