"11s are fine, 12s are better, and elites are best. Really though once you get high enough level it wont matter all that much. I have 3 11s, 3 12s, and an elite fighter all at level 120. I cant tell the difference really in terms of performance. Same goes for bombers. Even my base 11 bombers can shoot planes down because of BVE and micro skill."
I would agree. To play a CV well, you do need to be patient, watchful, and fairly coordinated due to switching back and forth to:
1. Watch were your CV is driving and check for Subs/Planes. 2. To effectively control your fighters. 3. To effectively control your DB and TB to avoid AA and other FPs. 4. To be able to shrug off all the players now a days screaming "Noob CV" while you try to bend to everyone demand at once.
Playing a CV is one of the toughest jobs in NF currently. Anyone can rush in as a BB and fire a few shots and score some attack and then sink and wait for prem. As a CV, you MUST have patience. You will need to be on top of everything at once. I have said it before and I will say it again: CVs make or break a team.
Ok, enough rambling. You +11 planes will work out just fine. Mine are +11 and I dont have problems with many FPs around my lvl and lower. Higher lvl FP, you will of course have to micromanage like crazy and hope the other player isnt paying attention to his FP or hope his are not b/v/e.
