Again, a few suggestion to start a discussion:

Suggestion 1:

1. R-gun slots 349 -> 359
2. Small T-gun slots 93 -> 71
3. Big T-gun slots 120 -> 112
4. Turning Force 18 -> 20
5. Base speed changes as follows:
1) Main guns only with ammo and crew: 26 knt
2) All guns incl. 3.5?- 6.1?AA guns installed with ammo and crew: 26 knt

The Strasbourg needs alot of love. Its a joke of a ship that is painful to deal with.

The main things it needs is a much needed spread fix. Shotgun blasts even well
above level is poor design for a ship that only has 2 turrets.

BB3 is supposed to be the point where in all navies you start to really shine as you
hit a point where the ships start becoming serious threats. MN you hit BB3 and
suddenly realize that BB1.5 is superior in basically everyway and decide leveling MN
was a waste of time.

The Strassbourg should represent some level of improvement over the Dunkerque, just
as the Nelson/Hood/KGV do for UK.

The Strassbourg already has a slightly smaller hit box than the Dunkie, so why not
make it equally as maneuverable with a little more range and better accuracy?


Where did the Strassbourg end up here?

I think many people skip the strass, it would be nice to give it a slight overbuff
compared to its peers... but thats not really balance. On the task at hand its spread
does need to be blocked, imo because it does poor damage

Suggestion 2 seems to be a solution that reaches a compromise with both the
Moderates and the Hardliners. I would therefore recommend Suggestion 2 with the
additional Anti-Aircraft Artillery suggested in Suggestion 1 in addition to them receiving
the same golden angle (there is no reason why the Dual and the Quad's should use
different Golden Angle's).

Uhm, there has been no decision yet as to how we will be doing the lower tier guns, so
saying they did it different is a bit premature...

And tehre are only small changes there... the golden angle of the 3.5 dual AA gun gets a
small adjustment and there will be 2 new guns (dual 5.1 A and quad 5.1A). The 2 new guns
will affect the T slot changes...

However, if we choose to adjust the T slots we will add those guns also. If we choose to
let them as they are, there's no reason to add those guns, since they wont be used.

Suggestion 2 +1

I would suggest adding 1 more sailor slot on the T slots to Allow the leveling of AA
Gunners. Currently, there isn't much of an advantage to get the Strasbourg over Paris or
Lorraine due to the lack of 1 sailor slot and accuracy.

Also, for the gun weight, could i suggest 6500 instead of 7000? I remember my Strasbourg
going something like 34 with a slight armor load of belt and bulge, so that would be nice
to put that 1k towards armor.

T slot space changes, should be delayed until we get the lower tier guns and AA sorted
out; as NFEU did their lower level guns a different way than what we are going to do it.
The primary difference currently is the difference in AA opinions, where NFEU nerfed the
GA from 25 to 27, most of our players want to keep it at 25 to prevent making MN AA a
copy of IJN AA. The secondary difference is how I have personally gone over every
single gun level and space wise already according to range and damage potential (as I
have not done damage testing, I can only assume based on number of barrels, reload
speed, and inch of the guns; damage testing will be done before changes are made to
the main servers).

Right they "adjusted accuracy" for the 13inch quads same as 14,9&; 13.5 and 18 inch
So please add that too since my only problems with the strass are the bad spread and that
it is incredible hard to speedcap it (needs even more then h44 engi ability to bring it to
speed cap!). A turning force buff for this fast and small ship might be a bit too much and
make it too hard to hit the strass

(maybe another suggestion would be blockshot for strass since its max dmg is below
bismarck and its range is just average)

Do note that NFEU's changes also have quite a few gun changes not included in
suggestion #1 here.
