Now that I have gotten permission to open this thread...It's time for me to fix up on
what I screwed up.

My current (unofficial) list:

-4kn base speed on maxim gorky
Armor weight increase by ~30%

-1 base speed on kirov
Armor weight increase by ~30%

KK:
Armor weight increase by ~30%

dual 6"/57 B-38 MK-17 Pattern 1938: reload: 4.32 -> 4.16
dual 6"/57 B-38 MK-17 Pattern 1938: maxinum angle: 45 -> 85

Minizini: reload: 1.56 -> 1.4
Minizini: AA shell: 55 -> 65

lv 38 dual 8" AND single 8": reload: 10.00-> 8.0
lv 38 dual 8" AND single 8": Accuracy +1
lv 52 dual 10": range: Current-> lv 58 dual 12" (Via Gun, not ammo)

lv 58 dual 12: accuracy +1
lv 61 dual 12, 40 degree: accuracy +1
lv 61 dual 12, 20 degree: accuracy +1

OH ratio buff on Gangut, base speed increase by 1
OH ratio buff on IM
OH ratio buff on Stalingrad
Kronstadt turning force nerf 21->19

Gangut level: 67 -> 65
Izmail level: 68 -> 66

IM submergence nerf
Stalingrad submergence nerf

Gangut trip 12" guns: level: 67 -> 65
Izmail trip 14" guns: level: 68 -> 66
Izmail 14" guns reload: 15.76 -> 16.68
Kornstadt 12" guns reload: 16.2 -> 15.60

P24 turning force: 19 -> 21 (Kaiser and Nebby has 22. Note P24 goes 35kn and has
45 degree guns)
P24 18.1" guns: HE damage: 1550 -> 1750

lv 100 trip 16": range: current -> lv 110 quad 16" gun range

lv 91 trip 16": range: current -> Iowa
lv 89 trip 12": range: current -> H39 (MUST BE DONE WITH CHANGES TO GUN. NOT
SHELLS)

Questionable changes:
Spread/damage buff to Gangut 12"?
Sovietsky submergence nerf?
Doubling a set of trip 12" guns for the AP at level ~64?
Stalingrad speed nerf, turning force increase? (to match up with the playstyle of the
BB6)
BB5 lv 110 gun spread buff?
BB5 lv 110 gun range nerf?
IM speed nerf?
Increases on turning force for BB5 and BB4 but reducing speed of both by 1kn?

Discuss.

Another thing is PR wise; When it was released, alot of TNF members and SDE said it had
been balanced. That hugely annoyed alot of members, especially when many of the TNF
members hadn't shown up for testing.

I was not talking about anyone in particular, but more in general. I know you were on, but
a lot of others that create threads here or in General Discussion weren't active there at all.

One of the main things also is, and that's where I will take the blame for without
objections, is that there was not enough open discussion and communication possible.
That's somethign I am trying to fix here with MN and these topics also. It means it may
take us a bit longer, but that's more than worth it.

Mailman; I spent alot of time on the test server. Anything I put forward to Angus was
ignored if he didn't agree with it.

Angus himself said he is stubborn and doesn't want things to happen. Flat out.

Original was better.

It could go quick, had more usable DP, and gave you choices. You could go 21/35 and bounce
all shells except the odd Yamato, strip some armor do 22/37, and have Yamato go through.

It had blaring weaknesses and obvious strengths. The ship as is a lot more refined.

The L1 we have now is the best we ever had though. From a balance PoV.

removing the lvl 89 12" gunset might be an option, but reducing the angle to 43/42 would
have my personal preference.

Creating additional shells is something that is likely impossible. If I remember correctly
I remember a comment from the GM's that it cannot be done.

I am quite happy with so much discussion going on in this topic. I hoped we could have had
that while we were still on the testserver with this, but at that point the only
discussion seemed to be that people wanted to play the BB6's there instead of actually
discussing new content. I am also disappointed with all the flames that this was released
to early/to soon. Even if we had kept it for 6 more months on the testserver it would not
have helped as there was no real interest to do anything about it. Only now that people
are affected by it on the real servers discussion is coming up. This is kind of a logical
way, since this is the way people (including everyone that did participate) really notice
the effects of the changes/adjustments that were made. The only thing that bothers is the
stab in the back of the people that put so much time in it on the testserver by people
that didn't really bother back then. Kind of makes me think if it is really worth all the
effort to continue with it like this ? Maybe next time we should drop it on the servers
like it is and discuss it afterwards ?

For now I made a new topic about changes to the BB's first.

Ok Lukas I stand correcter Lion1 was 19 turning ratio until Pharcyde trolled OBST and got
him to change it along with the base speed. Then the massive L1 buff/nerfs started.

The original base model ship was much better.

Kings, the L1 has a different turning ratio.

@Faz

The Vanguard can't use the L1 guns. And any L1 using the Vanguard guns is stupid; The
Vanguard with 4 guns already has the lowest damage output, why reduce it to 3.

UK also has two BB4s. And neither can Vanny use the L1 guns, nor is L1 any good with
Vanny's 15".

Doesn't UK have 2 BB4 gunsets? Vanguard/L1

From time to time I've seen L1's running Vanguard twin turrets armoured/speed in fleet
leagues.
