All of the aircraft perform differently. The IJN turn faster and travel pretty fast but
have low offensive and defensive power. US is pretty balanced up till tier 4 where as
has been stated, they have the best fighters.

Depends on which planes you are referring to. For fighters, US is top dog by the T4's...
IJN has the better Torps than US, in my opinion.
