MN Change request #4

Ships:

PCA Mandel: Reduce base speed with 4 knots
PCA Mandel: change default gun to Lvl 52 x2 12"/45 cal Model 1906
DD L'Adroit: Maximum displacement: 2461 -> 2150
DD Le Fantasque: R space: 47->50
CL Pluton: Armament space (torp space): 0 -> 25
CL Duguay Trouin: Armament space (torp space): 20 -> 30
CL Jeanne D' Arc: FCS space: 55 -> 60
CL Emile Bertin: FCS space: 55 -> 60
CL La Galissonniere: R space: 112 -> 153
CL La Galissonniere: FCS space: 60 -> 73
CA Tourville: R space: 122 -> 174
BB Charlemagne: Increase base speed with 1 knot

Guns:

MN Lvl 50 x2 12"/45 cal Model 1906: required space: 130 -> 153
MN Lvl 50 x2 12"/45 cal Model 1906: Make into EBB only guns
MN Lvl 120 x4 18.89"/45 cal Model 1945: accuracy: +2
SN Lvl 89 x3 12"/62 SM-33 Pattern 1948: If possible, reduce the shell penetration (it is
no problem if this affects other guns also). It should not be able to penetrate a fully
armored Lion I or II with Light HE shells. If a number is needed, a reduction of about
10% would be good (for a first test). Let me know if you want a different type of value or
number.
SN Lvl 89 x3 12"/62 SM-33 Pattern 1948: accuracy -1 (we know shells are shared with other
guns, it is ok if they are affected also)


Can we switch the range of the soviet lvl 100 and lvl 110 guns ?
The gunsets involved are:
- SN Lvl 100 x3 16"/50 B-37 Pattern 1937
- SN Lvl 110 x4 16" Vickers Pattern A
This would mean the Lvl 100 guns get the range that the Lvl 110 currently have and vise versa


Special:

When hit by a full salvo, some ships are able to absorb more damage than others. Is there
a way to modify the amount of damage a ship can withstand ? For instance, a Lion 2 can
take a lot more damage than a H44 when hit by the same salvo of enemy fire. If we can
modify this, then please reduce the ability to absorb damage for the BB Stalingrad a by
25% (roughly).

The last part is obviously what we have called submergence here on the forums. For the
devs submergence is somethign different, so I didnt call it like that in the request. This
is just for a first attempt of getting this done, so the value of 25% is a bit random.

Agreed Mailman, I think I said that in another thread; however, I was posting those for long
term changes.

Let's have the devs adjust it to have less shell penetration and better submergence first.

If we request to much in 1 go and something is not right it is much harder to find the
cause of the failure.

The angle of the 16" needs to be re-raised to 45 degree's, so that it has above Yamato
range.

The range of the 12" needs to be nerfed to the new 16" range. Give it worse salvo damage
(i.e. current damage), but better reload than the 16's, and have 1 knot extra base speed.

See how the ship plays with the current speed/turning/displacements, play some 10 vs 10
BB4 battles on the test server and go from there.

Making it stupidly easy to scout isn't a new game dynamic. Its called taking the skill out
of the game.
