haha finally the problem was found - frickin time warner >.<

and yes, for me, the problem started recently (last thursday/friday)

if you're having the data file version configuration issue and even a reinstall won't fix
it, go to the post in this thread that i posted yesterday and follow the steps i put
there. those steps are for windows vista as its the most confusing of the 3 most common
OS's used today. If you have trouble changing your DNS servers or are using a different
version of windows than Vista, simply leave a post and i'll explain how to change the DNS
for that OS as well.

I'll answer questions the best i can if there are any. hope i was of atleast a little help.

Also have the same problem, i cannot update using the launcher, and i cannot
download patch manually, i dont know if its just a coincidence, but i also have Time
Warner Cable/Road Runner, and if it is a problem with their DNS servers, changing
the DNS ip addresses would fix it....i just dont know what it could be changed too....
help >.<

ok fellas if u know how to do so change your dns my friend did it for me so not sure
exactly how to do it but just find out how. the game starts up for me now

that makes sense.. I'm on time warner also... funny thing is, i was fine until couple days
ago... so either time warner changed their policy?

u can nott access those sites www.donga.com,www.joins.com,www.mgame.com
and navyfield site ip 211.43.149.199(this ip location is south korea)
i asked time warner cable techical support man
my computer is fine, internet connection fine
just problem is those sites
but ATT internet service company can access those sites
i can not access those sites(navyfield game too)
i do not know what can i do fix it
just i telling u why u can not access navyfield game

it happened to me also, i dont even can downlaod the manual patch

same thing for me. game was ok yesterday
manual dl patch links are dead. i've tried un/reinstall with newest client, disabling
firewall/antivirus....etc
still no luck

seems like its only happening to a small population of people.

EDIT: im suspecting the recent windows defender update. but not sure how im gonna deal
with this

My navyfield patcher isnt updating either and the download link for the manual patch isnt
working

so you are saying i would have to do that from now on?
what's the cause of this error?

EDIT: tried updating. Still not working. HSupdate.exe won't work still.. it freezes in the
middle. and from reading up, seems like i'm not the only one with this problem. help me
out here..
