  • This weekend's testing sessions.

Due to SDE having a problem that needs to be fixed urgently on NFKR (don't ask me,
I don't know the details), the test server patch has been delayed.

The testing and balancing projects need to progress if they are to be made ready
and patched on live servers by June. (Final proposal of all the changes needs to be
sent in to SDE by the end of May).

Therefor, I'm scheduling another testing session this weekend to finish up testing
last week's changes, which were not tested throughly.

Friday, May 20th, 3:30 pm, (Nebby/Kaiser) server time.

Saturday, May 21st, 9:00 am (Nebby/Kaiser) server time.

Sunday, May 22nd, 9:00 am, (Nebby/Kaiser) server time.

The details of each test will be announced prior to the test, but the general list of
things that need to be tested are:

MN:
Charlemagne, everything
Richy, damage+maneuverability
Strasbourg, everything
CA-BB3 speeds
CA-BB3 submergence
CA-BB3 range
CL-BB6 T slots
CV R slots
AA

SN:
BB submergence
Stalingrad/BB3 12" gun damages, range.

Hopefully with the renewed interest and discussion, we will see more people here
than the last session.

Do one tier at a time and release them. Releasing one huge patch leads to too many errors.

And what stuff did SDE not do?

Yea, fix up the BB3s and BB4s with the BB5 patch maybe?

Btw, I think SDE forgot the last to use the latest patch this time, and a lot of changes
that were requested last week were not done.

"But we do not want another OPed BB3 here."

>>> Of course we don't. We all know who did the balance of the IM don't we. You just don't
get that you have to do one tier at a time, because one ships balance affects the whole tier.
Do the BB3's as a whole, because the BB3's as a whole are messed up. Maybe a quick fix for
the submergence, but do the BB3's as a whole.

oops, my bad, got all messed up with the PST-EST conversion. My sincere apologies,
and earth still spins east to west I guess :-)

I'm pretty sure the earth has started spinning west to east in preparation for the
rapture.

It should be 12:00pm EDT...

The Earth still spins from East to West right?

@Angus,
Not too sound too rude or arrogant here, but seems like the times are pretty early for
the US timezones for sat & sun.

Saturday, May 21st, 9:00 am (Nebby/Kaiser) server time. ( this is 9:00 am PST, which
translates to 6 am EST, correct ??? )
Same for Sunday as well.
I know that the timings can never be suitable adjusted for everybody's convenience,
but still 6 am ???
Just my 2 c.
:-)

Indeed, BB5s could also be done "later", as the BB5 balance project will be next.

But we do not want another OPed BB3 here.

My personal conclusion of the Alsace is the accuracy has improved, but it is still inconsistent.
I don't want to buff it more, as it will then completely outclass the montana.

As far as the Stalingrad goes, the 16"s still need the range buff to yamato range, while a
shell weight nerf to make it so that it can't penetrate AW L1. The 12" guns are completely
and utterly broken.

Have you not seen the patch notes Angus? You should check them. BB5 changes i.e. SN
BB5, plus battle tests on Alsace's are needed (proper ones).

The problem with the BB3's is that they all need to be done together, the tier itself is
broken.
