  • Why do you personally not come to test sessions?

Hey everyone. Just an open question.

We need people to help with battletesting and give their opinions on them during
test sessions. Obviously, if you couldn't make this weekends due to a one off event,
that isn't the point of the thread, its for those that don't attend whatsoever.

Is it because you would rather gain exp on the main server? (A valid point, if that is
your opinion, please tell us that).

Is it due to lack of rewards?

Is it due to the account system there, and having to class all the crew?

Is it due to technical issues?

Or, are you just not interested (again, a valid point)?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

On top of that, not many people partake in the test server discussion board. What
are the reasons for that?

Not interested

The staff that is being delivered by dev team does not add any interest to game for me
personally, so I don't see a point to test it.

More posts edited and other hidden.

Lj, that is not an official warning, though more derailing from either you or DD will get
warned.

@DJDeath

I believe it is exactly that.

"I believe the back lash of more experianced game mechanic players, sets the tone of
why most ppl dont download and contribute"

The reason why people do not come to the tests (apart from issues with dates and RL
issues) is that most people do not care. It's as simple as that. They don't read the
forums, they don't know a test server exists and if the knew, they still wouldn't come,
because they'd rather do something else with their time (which is quite understandable).

However, if one joins the test server, just to fool around, annoy people and try to ruin
the tests, they should be prepared to be treated like the retards they are.

I invite anyone to attend tests and see that I am more than willing to help people
during the tests, provided they aren't disruptive or are trolling. I may well be brash and
abrasive at times, but I will not flame or insult someone that is actually trying to learn.

Go ahead and prove me wrong with regards to game balance.

You come into threads in the test forum talking about realism. It was established a long
time ago that while realism is nice, game balance takes precedence.

I said "Lol" because the whole thread I had posted the facts about it. You know, that
huge thread in the Test Forum. That you ignored, and posted a complaining post on the
patch notes thread. You were proved wrong, then you posted a complain thread in GD.

I have helped many a player, and talked through game balance with many a player.
However, you chose not to read my posts, you chose not to research the subject, you
also chose to not attend tests.

Have you actually attended a test and felt my attitude was poor? Nope, didn't think so.

"Facts being changed? Just lol."

There you go again...

"Not sure what you are on about here. I have always said having real life physics
and history is nice, but not to compromise game balance. On top of there, there are
many shortcomings of the game code which do not allow this. As i've told you
countless times, which you don't listen."

A 16 inch shell hits like a 20 inch.

"Yet you are the one crying and insulting after I told you the logical failure of your
opinion that all BB6's should be armoured. As I have always said, feel free to reply to
my game balance posts with facts rather than insults like this."

I stated at first to leave the original bb6's alone. You got all cocky saying something
like "No, just no. lol" followed by another post containing one of your over used lines
like "Utter crap".

"Negative attitude of ONF? You mean the single group (apart from perhaps Jedi)
that has done more for this game than anyone else? Don't make me laugh. Just
because you don't like certain individuals doesn't give you the opportunity to make
up crap here, and insult myself."

There's a good reason not to like certain individuals. I'm not the only player some of you
relentlessly attack. By all means, go ahead and laugh at something that isn't funny.

@Devildog

"this is what some ppl are talking about, they feel like they dont meet your
standards and if they dont you will sure make them know it"

>>> Stop trolling Devildog. Anyone is welcome at our tests if they show a willingness
to take part, a willingness to learn and isn't going to be disruptive and troll. For
those here that are reading this and wondering why Devildog is so vocal against me,
go to the suggestions forum. Read how himself and his fleets have been flaming my
suggestions; All because he ran away from the Iowa server after his fleet didn't win
a game in the fleet league and complained about it (The invention of the word
"Megafleets" after his Megawhine about it).

@Audessy

"It's not the lack of knowledge of facts are the problem, LJ. It's the opinion of what
facts are going to be changed that cause conflict. You get two or more people who
are stubborn in a debate and it never ends because they're all theories and opinions
BACKED by facts."

>>> Facts being changed? Just lol.

"For instance, I think the game should at least loosely relate to real life physics and
history. You think the game should remain traditional and be like other RPG's on the
market. There are no facts here."

>>> Not sure what you are on about here. I have always said having real life physics
and history is nice, but not to compromise game balance. On top of there, there are
many shortcomings of the game code which do not allow this. As i've told you
countless times, which you don't listen.

"Being constructively critical, your way of handling a player who is wrong or doesn't
carry a popular opinion is often uncalled for. You want more players on your test
server and to participate yet you act condescending, narrow minded, short, and
stubborn. Note, I said 'act'."

>>> Yet you are the one crying and insulting after I told you the logical failure of your
opinion that all BB6's should be armoured. As I have always said, feel free to reply to
my game balance posts with facts rather than insults like this.

"So maybe another question should be put into the original post. "Is the negative
attitude of ONF causing disinterest?"

>>> Negative attitude of ONF? You mean the single group (apart from perhaps Jedi)
that has done more for this game than anyone else? Don't make me laugh. Just
because you don't like certain individuals doesn't give you the opportunity to make
up crap here, and insult myself.
