"save your money for something more worth it than following the other lemmings and "buying" your way into being a "good" or "great" player.
items gained during events, of course, don't count in such said regard :)
but anyone that pays for a "free" game in order to be regarded as "good", well, there's a term for that. "sad""
Lol. Almost tempted to let someone else field this one, but I'm bored. *****"buying" your way into being a "good" or "great" player."***** *****"items gained during events, of course, don't count in such said regard :)"*****
Using purchased items (that increase the ability of the crew/ships) to make a good/great player shouldn't be done. Items gained during events don't count. So using the items to be better is bad but you still use them if you don't have to pay for them (regardless of what other players get during events if anything).
To summarize. I want to use the items, but I do not want (or cannot) pay for them. So other people shouldn't buy them.
**************************************** As for the above "Ok i wont buy one, i ll buy more than one and i m not sad, i m going to be happy " All said and done the only ones really worth putting boosts on are engineers (if you prefer to prioritize your spending). I've run 5 BB6 crews with the last two primarily unboosted and the difference is minor at that level. Boosts are useful at low-mid levels and the benefits kind of taper off in the 90s+. You will recieve the same 20% boost to growth and ability irregardless of when you use it, however the benefits of that increase in growth/potential is less at higher levels.
