I don't know what dude said to dismiss them... that was clearly a bad joke. If you
dismiss them, you loose them forever.
To sell your sailors, you have to take them off your whips and then go to the HQ tab. In
there, press the Sell button, select your sailors (one or more if you want to bundle
them: the pair of guners for example) and set a price for the whole pack. Then it will go
up for trade and everyone can look at them and buy them if the price is right.
