It has been prooved long time ago that 0.2 Belt divides torp damge by 2 (0.2 belt,
no need 0.5 it doesn't divide by 5, requires alot more for make any significant
change)

SD also help for Torp damages, put some Restorers on your escort.

Otherwise this post isn't really usefull,a torp wall is easily avoidable, and if TBs hunt
you, same, the only thing it could have a use is against a Sub, and a good sub
wouldn't put a single torp on your escort adn your escort would not take a single
torp, it can only be a bad thing if the escort is close to you and got hit by the torp
dealing you splash damages while if there was nothing the torp would ran too far
for splash.

I tend to use my escort more in gb2 battles with AA and a sonar on board than
anything else. and that's only on occasion with my CV, since the damned thing gets in
the way of my BB's guns. it's not worth it if I hit it and lose exp from a friendly shot

Actually thats incorrect. RN has the LIGHTEST (and therefore best) belt and deck, not
sure on bulk. The best bulge (according to NF iirc) is japan. So theoretically a mogami
would do well for this.

I love it! edinburgh would be best though just because it's RN and has better armer,
