In the town where I am at, a man who worked for me a few years back (no longer,
thank god), was arrested for solicting to have sex with a percieved minor, Age 14 on
the blog, but actually an undercover female detective. He was arrested after 3
months of online chat with "instructive advice" for her first sexual encounter. He
agreed to meet the girl at a specified location and was arrested by Police officers
when he entered the building. Guy was crying like a baby all over TV when they
showed him standing before the judge.
The point here is, be careful of MySpace as a lot of folks are not whom they appear
to be. Perverts and predators can pretend to be younger than they are and get
ahold of your personal information very easily. Parents should be aware of what
their kids are doing on myspace also. Found my daughters account and was shocked
to see what she had written for all to see. (shocked I tell you , SHOCKED!)
