I used all KM40's on my Moltke for the first few months, and this week I decided to
mix it up.
I put the KM40's in the back 4 slots, and the level 30 3.46" in the front 6 slots.

I have noticed my Airplane kills go way up, since they have slightly different angles
and ranges. Having both has seemed to widen my "Golden angle" kill area.

Anyone else doing/tried this?

Dont forget, at start of game select your AA guns, hit "Z" for front turret, and raise it
above the rear guns 4 degrees. X takes control of both turrets back.
T Slot Angles should be 36 deg on top
32 deg on bottom.

Epic necro.
DON'T mix your guns, learn angles...
lvl 55 4.1" is the best choice on moltke atm, golden angle 33.

wow this is great info. My AA kills went from 2/3K a game to over 5K. Big improvement.
I used 4.1s in the front and 3.46s in the back t slots. Highly recommended.

I dunno lixher, I never use the T slots separatelly. Like lordsaxon said, u set the 4/5
degrees gap between the rear and front AA, and from that point u use them as a
whole/together....

Thank u for your guide sax.

I have great results changing angles with the mixed guns.
They are only 4-5 degrees apart, so it actually creates a wider "Kill area" no matter
what angle you fire at. Actually better chance to hit low flying scouts and Tb's.
I hit the TDA and lower gun angles to 12/16 .. The flak makes a "square" instead of
a "line".
Get it?
You dont need to change their angles separately, except at the beginning and/or if
you accidentally reset them both to zero in the game.
At the beginning of the game, use the "Z" key to select front guns, and raise them
to four/five degrees. Then hit X and raise both to 32/36 (or 32/37).
Once they are set Keep them at that variance when firing at planes of varying
altitude.

I tried mixing my AA guns- However, i change my angles extreamly often and i found
it hard to keep up with what gun was at what angle.

The other part of it was- No mater what angle i was shooting at, i was left with 1/2
of my guns at the wrong angle. I think this might work for some, or could be very
good if you never change your angles. But, for me- I like having all my guns at the
angle that i want at the time that i want it.
